The solution uses socio-emotional data and artificial intelligence to identify which students and families need priority attention before the re-enrollment period

GrãoEdu, an edtech company supported by CNPq and accelerated by BNDES Garagem, will present a solution at the Bett Nordeste Conference that transforms socio-emotional data into management insights for schools. Through scientifically validated tools and the use of artificial intelligence, the platform helps administrators anticipate risks, protect the institution’s revenue, and promote students’ holistic development.

The company’s main highlight at the event will be theSmart Re-enrollment Report. Based on a socio-emotional assessment of students, the solution provides a list of students most at risk of dropping out or failing to re-enroll, identifies which families require priority attention, and suggests actions the school can take in each case.

The proposal is to allow institutions to take action before the formal re-enrollment period begins. It is estimated that retaining a student can cost up to five times less than recruiting a new one. Despite this, many schools only realize the risk of student attrition once the family has already made its decision.

“Our goal is to help schools turn information about belonging, relationships, dedication, school climate, and situations of distress into concrete actions. With organized data and personalized recommendations, school administrators can take preventive, thoughtful, and strategic action,” says Alisson Valença, Head of Product and Science at GrãoEdu.

In the full version of the platform, teachers also have access toSapIA, GrãoEdu’s artificial intelligence agent, to create lesson plans that connect curriculum content to the priority human skills for each class. Students, in turn, interact with SapIA through experiences focused on their own development. When signs requiring attention are identified, the technology issues alerts so that school administrators can conduct the necessary analysis and provide human follow-up.

With this approach, GrãoEdu integrates management, social-emotional development, and dropout prevention, providing schools with actionable insights to support students and strengthen the institution’s sustainability.
