Brazil's public school systems have made progress in reducing the age-year gap over the past five years, but the challenge remains significant: a UNICEF analysis, based on data from the School Census, indicates that approximately 4.2 million students are two or more years behind in school. 

In this context, the restoration of learning is no longer merely an emergency response to the post-pandemic period but is becoming a priority in addressing educational inequalities. During Bett Brasil—considered the largest education and technology event in Latin America—the Eureka Group will present, from May 5 to 8 at Expo Center Norte, a suite of solutions that integrates textbooks, artificial intelligence, engaging experiences, and audiovisual content designed to support student learning and retention.

The focus is on the “Pipa” and “Vira-Tempo” collections, designed for the final years of elementary school and high school—stages that exhibit the highest rates of age-grade mismatch. These resources serve as supplementary materials for Portuguese language and mathematics instruction and adopt an approach that integrates the development of cognitive and socio-emotional skills, with a focus on students’ holistic development and the strengthening of their academic trajectories.

In addition, the institution will showcase the artificial intelligence platform ProfessorIA, which is used by more than 20,000 teachers and 120,000 students in the public school system. The tool features avatar teachers, such as Maria de Fátima, and stands out for also having a team of specialized real teachers who are responsible for ensuring the quality and relevance of the information. 

“The Eureka Group was founded more than 27 years ago, with the goal of placing teachers at the center of the learning process. All of our educational solutions are the result of an ongoing process of listening to school districts and teachers. It is the teachers themselves who help us develop tools capable of addressing the real challenges of everyday school life,” says Professor Marco Saliba, the institution’s founder.

Another highlight at the Eureka Group’s booth will be the presentation of the “Alunos Autores” project, developed in partnership with the Rio de Janeiro state school system. The initiative encouraged students to write original texts, which were later selected to be included in a published collection, launched at a book-signing event attended by family members and teachers. Among the participants is Sabriiny Fogaça Lopes, a student in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) program, who resumed her studies after 25 years, enrolled in a public university, and will share her story at the Bett Brasil booth on May 6 at 11 a.m.

Enem

The Eureka Group will also present initiatives aimed at preparing students for the National High School Exam (Enem). In 2025, ProfessorIA introduced an essay-grading tool based on the official assessment criteria, providing formative feedback to students. To complement this initiative, the “Suave no Enem” video series was created, in which teachers and experts provide guidance on writing strategies and analyze contemporary topics under public debate, using the language of memes and social media to increase engagement among younger generations.

The company’s director of Educational Products, Igor Ventura, emphasizes that artificial intelligence does not replace teachers, but rather strengthens their role. “Technology only has a real impact when accompanied by pedagogical guidance and teacher training. Teachers are the key players in this process,” says the executive. 

Workshops 

With 77 m², the Eureka Group’s booth will feature a lineup of interactive activities, including creative writing workshops, discussions on the use of technology in education, and lectures focused on implementing educational solutions in school systems. The schedule will also feature authors from the Literatura a Vapor project, who will participate in roundtable discussions and book-signing sessions, as well as meetings dedicated to dialogue with public officials, experts, and educators—such as Professor Nara Fernandes de Oliveira from Rio de Janeiro, who will discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the classroom.
