Simpax Unveils New Technologies for School Safety and Prevention at Bett Brasil 2026
Fully aligned with the theme of individual and collective intelligence proposed this year by Bett Brasil, Simpax is bringing the features of Simpax Escola—an access control solution designed exclusively for the school environment—to Latin America’s largest education technology event.
With a well-established presence in the sector, Simpax already serves more than 40 schools and 25,000 students and records more than 200,000 daily logins nationwide. The platform uses facial recognition and artificial intelligence to identify students, staff, and guardians at access points, ensuring greater security, efficiency, and traceability in the day-to-day operations of these institutions.
The system also helps organize the school day. When a parent or guardian arrives to pick up a student—whether at the main entrance or in the parking lot—their facial biometric data is recognized, and their registration automatically assigns them a place in a virtual line. From there, students are organized according to criteria set by the school, prioritizing efficiency and preventing crowds.
In addition to managing student arrivals and departures, Simpax Escola stands out for offering centralized data management, allowing administrators to monitor attendance and student movement within the school in real time, which provides greater transparency and control.
Among the platform's main benefits are:
● Greater security in the school environment, with precise identification of all entry points
● Optimization of incoming and outgoing flows, reducing lines and delays
● Real-time monitoring of student and employee attendance
● Collaboration between schools and families, with more efficient communication
● Data-driven management with strategic reports
● Elimination of the use of speakers and microphones to call students, contributing to employee health and reducing noise pollution.
What's New
To celebrate its debut at Bett Brasil, the company chose the event to showcase the platform’s new features to the public, which further expand the role of technology in school safety and organization.
The first of these is computer vision for incident detection using AI, a technology capable of identifying events and behaviors in real time. In a school setting, the tool can detect situations such as bullying, assaults, or suspicious movements, generating automatic alerts for school staff and enabling preventive action.
Another new feature is the emergency buttons, which can be installed at strategic locations throughout the school. With these buttons, students and teachers can quickly alert staff in situations involving risk or a need for help, such as feeling unwell or incidents of harassment in the classroom.
The company will also showcase its evacuation route feature, which organizes and marks paths for safe evacuation in emergency situations, ensuring a quick and orderly exit for students and employees.
According to Jocimar Ristow, director of Simpax, the platform’s evolution reflects the growing demand for safety in educational institutions. “Schools need to be safe environments in every respect. Our goal is to use technology not only for monitoring, but also for prevention and rapid response to any situation that threatens the well-being of the school community,” he says.
The company's booth is located on Q122 Street. There, visitors will be able to see firsthand how Simpax Escola works and how it meets the needs of each school.
