E-book features ideas and thoughts shared at the aquarium in the form of illustrations
Bett Brasil’s new approach to dialogue: the aquarium features a visual translation process during its panel discussions; check out the results

Visitors to the 28th edition of Bett Brasil were able to experience a new feature this year: the “aquarium” discussion format, which allowed the audience to participate in conversations with the speakers directly on stage. During each panel, audience members took turns in the seats to discuss important topics in education, such as ChatGPT, anti-racist education, creative learning, and digital skills for teachers, among other subjects.

Also known as the Fishbowl —or “aquário” in Portuguese—this methodology is a group discussion technique that encourages everyone to actively participate in an open conversation. The name “aquário,” in turn, comes from the image of a fish in a fishbowl, where participants have a clear view of what is happening.

But that wasn’t all: all the ideas, thoughts, and information presented in this format were captured in real time and transformed into drawings and text by Ideia Clara, a partner of Bett Brasil.

This graphic facilitation process is a way to organize information, help participants retain content, engage them, and summarize the main points of a conversation. As a result, understanding occurs spontaneously and objectively.
