The production of Bett Talks provided a platform for diverse and influential voices in education during the 28th edition of Bett Brasil, held in May of this year. The initiative allowed participants to share their stories, experiences, and knowledge over the course of the four-day event—the largest gathering dedicated to innovation and technology in education in Latin America.

Teacher and psychoanalyst Flavia Arante explains that she has been attending Bett Brasil for quite some time, but having the opportunity to speak at Bett Talks this year was exciting. “It’s a form of recognition that motivates me even more to continue on this journey in pursuit of a humanized and truly transformative education,” says Flavia.

According to her, attending Bett Brasil allows for in-depth discussions related to the education sector, including teaching that addresses mental health and a more human-centered approach to students—her area of expertise. “Sharing my experiences and exchanging ideas with the other speakers and participants is simply enriching, transformative, and opens up new paths,” the professor notes.

For educational coordinator Soraya Andrade, the initiative helps strengthen learning networks, which are essential to the sector’s development. “Participating in Bett Talks was a wonderful experience that helped me grow both personally and professionally. I had the privilege of serving on a panel with highly competent individuals in a setting where we exchanged and shared knowledge that is so important to education,” Soraya says.

Bett Talks aims to inspire the public with stories of citizenship, inclusion, and learning. These are true life lessons featuring educators from across the country. Registration for the next edition of the project is now open and can be completed free of charge through October 6, 2023, using this online form.

Through this initiative, interested individuals will be able to share their personal or professional experiences related to the educational ecosystem at Bett Brasil, the largest community for innovation and technology in education in Latin America, which will take place April 23–26, 2024, at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo.
