Based on the concept of “regenerative futures, ” educational crises can be viewed as catalysts for profound transformations. From this perspective, education moves beyond merely mitigating current vulnerabilities to take a leading role in rebuilding a sustainable and socially just society, preparing citizens capable of devising innovative solutions to contemporary problems.

In this context, the Bett Nordeste 2025 Conference, a traveling event organized by Bett Brasil, announces its central theme: “A New Approach to Learning to Build Regenerative Futures.” The choice of this theme is no coincidence; it builds on the vision of the 30th edition of Bett Brasil, held in São Paulo, to promote education that addresses crises and builds regenerative futures.

According to Adriana Martinelli, Director of Content at Bett Brasil, the idea is to deepen, in a localized way, the dialogue on how schools can respond to contemporary challenges with courage, innovation, and a commitment to life.

“The concept of ‘new learning’ underscores the urgency of rethinking what, how, and why we teach, recognizing that the regeneration of the future necessarily begins with transforming the way we educate,” explains Adriana.

The Bett Nordeste 2025 Conference will be held on August 27 and 28 at the Recife Expo Center in Recife, Pernambuco, with the participation of educators, administrators, and experts who will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing basic education in both public and private school systems. The event is co-organized by the Union of Educational Institutions in the State of Pernambuco (Sinepe-PE).

The 4 Cs of the Bett Nordeste Event

The conference program will be organized around four subtopics derived from the central theme—the so-called “4 C’s of the Conference”—which will guide the activities over the course of the two days:

• Social Interaction: Skills for living well with others, with a focus on healthy relationships, active listening, empathy, diversity, conflict resolution, and collective decision-making. The goal is to reinforce the school’s role as a democratic, inclusive space that fosters a sense of belonging.
   
• Awareness: Lessons for dealing with excess and uncertainty. The discussions will focus on critical thinking, digital ethics, the mindful use of artificial intelligence, media literacy, and preparing for an increasingly unstable and complex world.
   
• Care: Learning experiences that care for the planet and people, integrating topics such as mental health, well-being, sustainability, and human values. The goal is to promote schools that welcome, protect, and educate for regeneration.
   
• Creativity: Meaningful learning, autonomy, and innovation. This pillar emphasizes student agency, active learning methods, creativity, and personalization, viewing learning as a space for invention and the construction of new futures.

The Bett Nordeste Conference will feature three auditoriums: two with “Plenary” and “Aquarium” layouts (the latter allows audience members to come up on stage and participate in the conversation with the speakers), and one dedicated exclusively to debates on public education, with free admission. In addition, there will be a large exhibition area featuring brands offering solutions and innovations tailored to the education sector, creating opportunities for networking and new business ventures with institutions in the Northeast region.
