Recife will be the center of attention in the field of education on August 27 and 28 with the Bett Nordeste Conferenceat the Recife Expo Center. Organized by Bett Brasil, in partnership with Sinepe-PE, the event features a dynamic program geared toward educators, administrators, and leaders of educational institutions, as well as education experts and government representatives.

The official opening will take place this Wednesday (27) at 11 a.m., with the State Secretary of Education and Vice Governor of Sergipe, Zezinho Sobral; the president of the Union of Private Schools of Pernambuco (SINEPE-PE), José Ricardo Diniz; and the general director of Bett Brasil, Claudia Valério, in attendance. The event will be moderated by journalist and TV Guararapes host Ciro Guimarães.

This year, the conference’s central theme is “A New Way of Learning to Build Regenerative Futures, which is divided into four main areas that will guide the entire event program: Community, Awareness, Care, and Creation. The goal is to encourage deep reflection on how schools can reinvent themselves in the face of contemporary challenges, seeking more humane, creative, and inclusive teaching practices.

The program is divided into three types of venues: the Plenary, a space for debates and inspirational talks; the Aquarium, which allows the audience to actively engage with the speakers; and the new addition to this edition, the Public Education auditorium, which offers free admission and focuses on pressing issues facing public school systems.

Among the featured topics, the conference will address everything from the challenges of municipal public administration and the use of smart financing to ensure quality in education, to the importance of a more human-centered approach to management within schools, placing people at the center of the strategy. Also on the agenda will be the modernization of the public school system through public-private partnerships, the media literacy skills needed to navigate an increasingly complex world, and the relationship between social-emotional health and learning.

The program also includes discussions on how to implement artificial intelligence responsibly in schools, strategies for making financial education meaningful for students, and reflections on engagement, student leadership, and the development of 21st-century skills. The conference also features an exhibition area where companies in the sector will showcase new developments, product launches, and solutions in products and services for education, creating opportunities for networking and new business with institutions in the Northeast.

With the support of organizations such as the Recife Department of Education, Consed, Undime, ANEC, UNCME, and SINEPE chapters in various states, the Bett Nordeste 2025 Conference serves as a platform for dialogue and the exchange of experiences to strengthen public and private education in the region and across the country.
