Recife is preparing to host the Bett Northeast Conference
The countdown to the fifth edition of the Bett Nordeste Conference , which will take place on August 19 and 20 at the Recife Expo Center in Recife (PE). Expected to bring together more than 2,000 participants, 40 exhibiting brands, and 70 speakers, the event’s central theme will be: “Intelligence in Action: Experiences That Transform Education.”
Organized by Bett Brasil, in partnership with Sinepe-PE, the Bett Nordeste Conference is in the final stages of preparation, bringing to the region discussions on artificial intelligence, teaching practices, school management, public policy, inclusion, teacher training, and the challenges faced by public and private school systems.
The official opening will take place on August 19 at 1:00 p.m., with the participation of Bett Brasil’s director general, Claudia Valério; the president of the Union of Educational Institutions in the State of Pernambuco (Sinepe-PE), José Ricardo Diniz; Recife City Councilwoman and teacher Ana Lúcia; and will be moderated by TV Guararapes reporter Renata Araújo.
National leaders in programming
Over the course of two days, the program will bring together educators, experts, and representatives from the public sector to discuss and share experiences aimed at strengthening education.
Among the guests are Professor Débora Garofalo, internationally recognized for the Global Teacher Prize and a leading expert in educational policy; Alessandra Borelli, an attorney specializing in digital law; Katia Smole, executive director of Instituto Reúna; Fernanda Bérgamo, a writing instructor; and Pedro Cortella, founder of Saber Ampliado.

Also participating in the program are Cecília Cruz, Recife City’s Secretary of Education; Luiz Miguel Garcia, president of Undime Nacional; Roni Miranda, Paraná’s Secretary of Education; Luciano Meira, director of pedagogy at Proz Educação; and Kadu Lins, CEO of the Autism Institute . Program in three auditoriums running simultaneously
To cater to the diverse audience, the conference will be held in three concurrent sessions: Plenary, Aquarium, and Public Education, allowing participants to choose the content that best aligns with their areas of interest.

In addition to traditional panel discussions, the program will feature a variety of presentation formats. The Inspirational Sessions will focus on reflections and experiences related to education; the Roundtable Discussions will feature debates moderated by journalists; and the Panel Discussions will bring together two experts to share complementary perspectives on key topics.
The main new feature of this edition is the “Talk” format—30-minute individual presentations that offer objective discussions on strategic issues in contemporary education.

A space for innovation and networking
The Bett Nordeste Conference will feature an exhibition area bringing together companies and institutions that will showcase solutions, products, services, and technologies geared toward the education sector. Admission to the exhibition area is free.

School-related experiences take center stage at the event
Another new feature of the program will be the presentation of the projects selected for the first edition of “Escolas em Ação, ” an initiative carried out in partnership with the Union of Educational Institutions in the State of Pernambuco (Sinepe-PE).
Six initiatives developed by private schools in Pernambuco, Bahia, and Paraíba will be presented during the event. The projects address topics such as artificial intelligence, student leadership, metacognition, school management, and pedagogical innovation, with the goal of promoting the sharing of practices that have been yielding positive results in school communities.
Registration is still open
Those interested can still register for the Bett Nordeste Conference in two categories. The “visitor” category provides free access to the exhibition area, the opening lecture, and the full program in the Public Education Auditorium. The “conference attendee” category includes access to the conference’s three auditoriums, the exhibition area, and a certificate of participation.
On the first day, the exhibition area will be open from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while the conference will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On the second day, the exhibition will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the conference program will run from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Registration for the event is available here.
