Digital transformation in education has been one of the key drivers in addressing long-standing challenges and expanding access, quality, and equity in education. Against this backdrop, educational technology is a strategic pillar of public policy.

With this goal in mind, public officials in the technology sector from various regions of Brazil gathered during the 30th edition of Bett Brasilto discuss strategies, share experiences, and identify trends for the future of public education in the country.

The theme of the event was “Public Network Technology: Paths to Integration and Innovation in Education,” and it featured a presentation by Delson Silva, director of Technology and Innovation at the National Fund for Education Development (FNDE). The session was opened by Claudia Valério, general director of Bett Brasil.

Silva emphasized the institution’s role as a coordinator of network-based initiatives. “We had the opportunity to share a bit about the work the FNDE has been doing to support education networks, especially in the acquisition and use of technology. Our focus is always on how to best support the states and municipalities,” he explained.

According to him, participating in Bett Brasil broadened the managers’ perspectives: “Events like this highlight the work being done in the country. It’s a chance to bring people together, learn about the best the market has to offer, and bring that knowledge back to the chains,” Silva said.

Carlos Corrêa, the representative from the Rio de Janeiro State Department of Education, highlighted the value of sharing experiences among professionals in the field. “One of the most important things in education is sharing knowledge. Bett Brasil provides that, in addition to showcasing new technologies that we really need to learn about. When we talk and share solutions, we grow together,” he said.

He also emphasized the importance of collaboration between technical staff and managers: “Bringing together those who make decisions and those who carry them out is essential for developing new solutions. Education is constantly evolving, just like technology.”
