From May 5 to 8, 2026, the Bett Brasil, Latin America’s largest event for innovation and technology in education, in partnership with the Center for Business-School Integration (CIEE), will host the CIEE Ahead Forum – Higher Education, an initiative that highlights the main challenges and paths for higher education in Brazil. The forum will take place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo and is part of the event’s official program.

With a proven track record in connecting students with the job market, CIEE plays a central role in organizing the event, fostering dialogue among higher education institutions, the business sector, and education experts.

“The CIEE Ahead Forum aims to bring higher education even closer to the real demands of the job market. It is a necessary initiative in light of the changes we are experiencing and reinforces CIEE’s role in strategically supporting the education and professional integration of young Brazilians,” says CIEE Institutional Superintendent Rodrigo Dib.

Rather than simply discussing access to college, the forum proposes a broader perspective on the student’s journey and on how to prepare young people to thrive in an ever-changing landscape—one that requires the development of new skills and a connection to the real world from the very start of their undergraduate studies.

The CIEE Ahead Forum will bring together academic leaders, education administrators, and experts to discuss priority topics such as the evolution of hybrid learning, the impact of new technologies and artificial intelligence on the workforce, and regulatory changes affecting the sector.

The proposal aims to promote themes that foster the integration of theory and practice throughout the undergraduate program; the use of technology as a tool for learning; and the creation of a collaborative ecosystem among universities, companies, and intermediary institutions.

With more than 30 confirmed speakers, the Ahead CIEE Forum – Higher Education is one of the 13 auditoriums at Bett Brasil and serves as a premier venue for exchanging experiences, developing solutions, and anticipating trends that are likely to shape the future of education and work in Brazil.

It is through this collaboration that more consistent pathways emerge to align education with professional practice, bridging the historical gap between what is taught and what the job market demands.
