Ahead by Bett, an event held concurrently with Bett Brasil, is now in its second edition, focusing on the transformations and innovations in higher and vocational education, with the aim of fostering dialogue about the final stage of education, which prepares students to effectively enter the job market. This year, the event is officially partnered with Quero Educação and will bring together key stakeholders in higher education, including institution operators, university presidents, administrators, educators, and industry solution providers.

The event will take place from April 23 to 26 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo and will feature a large exhibition area with more than 40 participating companies, which will showcase their services, products, and innovations in higher education. Check out the list of participating brands here.

Meanwhile, the Ahead Forum, held in an exclusive auditorium, will bring together more than 40 experts to address topics such as the impact of new technologies on teaching practices, the relationship between companies and vocational education institutions, the quality of distance learning in undergraduate programs, the importance of continuous learning, key proposed legislation for 2024, student recruitment planning, relationship marketing for student retention, and opportunities for partnerships with marketplaces, among other topics.

The panel “Technology-Mediated Teaching Practices, ” which will take place on April 23 at 11:00 a.m., will feature Karen Sasaki, academic manager of Distance Education at Tiradentes University (UNIT); Lilian Bacich, CEO of Tríade Educacional; and Ericka Vitta, professor and researcher in Educational Technologies at Unicamp .

Still on the topic of incorporating new technologies, the Ahead Forum will also feature the panel “Will teachers be replaced by robots?” on April 24 at 10 a.m., with the participation of educational consultant and teacher trainer Fernando Trevisani, Solvertank digital scientist Maurício Garcia, and Marcos Ota, head of design and educational technology at Cruzeiro do Sul .

Ahead Plenary Session + Managers' Forum

Another new feature of this edition is that there will be four sessions of the “Ahead Plenary + Managers’ Forum,” one per day of the event. The idea is to bring together the audiences of Ahead by Bett and the Managers’ Forum, ensuring an experience that fosters integration and connection between the K-12 and higher education sectors.

The event will feature the following panels: “The Future of Work: Trends and the Importance of Lifelong Learning, ” with Ana Claudia Plihal, director at LinkedIn; “The Art of Deceiving Oneself, ” with Luiz Gaziri, professor at Unicamp and FAE Business School; “From the Front Lines to Senior Management: The 10 Cs of Success, ” with Iris Barbosa, advisor to the Brazilian Human Resources Association; and “Technology as a Strategy to Reduce Social Inequalities, ” with Kelly Baptista, executive director of the 1Bi Foundation.
