Among the highlights is the panel discussion “From Misinformation to Deepfakes: How AI Is Changing Trust in Schools,” on May 5 at 5:00 p.m. in the Startups Arena , featuring Francisco Tupy, who holds a Ph.D. from the University of São Paulo with a focus on video games.

At the Basic Education Conference on May 6 at 10:30 a.m., the panel “What Can Every Educator Do for Digital and Media Education in 2026?” will feature Mariana Ochs, education coordinator at the Palavra Aberta Institute, and Mariana Filizola, general coordinator of Media Education at the Social Communication Secretariat of the Office of the President of the Republic.

Also at the conference, on May 7 at 2:00 p.m., the panel “Between Algorithms and Consciousness: The Challenge of Education in the Age of AI and Misinformation” will feature Dora Kaufman, a professor at PUC-SP, and Alexandre Le Voci Sayad, director of ZeitGeist and a UNESCO consultant (France and Uruguay) on media literacy.
