The 30th edition of Bett Brasil, Latin America’s largest event for innovation and technology in education, will host a first-of-its-kind initiative focused on the practical training of education students.

In partnership with the Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU), thirty students will have free access to the fair and the lecture halls, where they will participate in educational activities specially designed to broaden their perspective on the challenges and opportunities of contemporary education.

"Bett Brasil has always sought to be a space for continuous learning and connection among different stakeholders in education. With this initiative, we are taking it a step further by providing a practical and immersive experience for future educators. We want these students to experience firsthand the innovations that are shaping the future and to engage in dialogue with industry experts. This exchange of knowledge is essential for training professionals who are better prepared and more engaged with the challenges of the educational landscape,” says Adriana Martinelli, content director at Bett Brasil.

Organized into groups and accompanied by FMU professors, the students will take part in a research project that will connect theory and practice through five areas:

• 1 - Fact-finding mission at the fair: exploring booths and innovative educational solutions.
• 2 - Interviews with speakers: gathering experts' perspectives on the future of education.
• 3 - Survey of visitors and exhibitors: gathering opinions on educational trends.
• 4 - Observation of content sessions: critical analysis of lectures and workshops.
• 5 - Networking and professional connections: identifying career opportunities in the education sector.

For Ricardo Ponsirenas, the president of the FMU and FIAM-FAAM university centers, the initiative is a unique opportunity to broaden the repertoire of future educators.

Ponsirenas explains that, in addition to strengthening academic training, participation in Bett Brasil also serves as an essential link between the university and the job market. This initiative aligns with the FMU Level-up program, which aims to “train professionals who are ready for the present and connected to the future of education.”

The dean goes on to conclude: “This project, which involves students in the event, helps produce professionals who are better prepared, more engaged, and better aligned with the demands of the 21st century. It is a replicable model that can inspire other institutions to rethink teacher training with a focus on employability, innovation, and practical experience as the central pillar of the educational process.”

At the end of the immersive experience, the students will share their insights at a meeting on campus, thereby broadening the initiative’s impact among their peers. More than just a visit to the fair, this initiative transforms Bett Brasil into a dynamic learning environment, enriching the educational repertoire of future educators.
